Directions

Charols is not an easy destination. Apologies in advance, but we hope it makes up for it when you get there. Check out their website below, it seems beautiful. We suggest flying into Marseilles, Paris, or Geneva.

Public Transit

Take the high speed train to Valence from Paris or Marseilles. It is best to rent a car from there to get to Charols.

Driving

Paris will be about a 6 hour drive, Marseilles a 2 hour drive, and Geneva a 3 hour drive. We recommend renting a car with GPS. :)

Chateau Les Oliviers de Salettes

This is the location of the wedding. We have the hotel reserved for Thursday, June 9 through Sunday, June 12. As we get RSVPs, we will be reserving these rooms on your behalf. The rates range from 200 euros per night for a regular room to 250-300 euros per night for the suites (sleeping 4+, for large families). Space is limited, therefore, we will need to make calls on these rooms based on RSVP and family size. If you have not heard from us, you should book at the accommodations below.

Chateau Les Oliviers

de Salettes

The Chateau has 2 pools : one dedicated to families and another ‘silence only.’ The pools are heated. They also have a Spa and outdoor panoramic jacuzzi - because what other kind of jacuzzi would you want???

There is bowling, badminton, and bicycle rentals available. They also have a beautiful wine cellar and will have wine tasting sessions on request - when in France!!

There is also a Cigar smoking lounge. This helps us out because we really needed a Cigar Corner!! While we do not condone smoking, there is something beautiful about the sweet smell of cigars!

Note: We have borrowed all of the 'What to do' directly from our amazing hotel owner!
