Is the wedding in another country?
Yes, the wedding is in France. France is located in Europe.
Are kids invited?
Yes. However, we consider kids to be under 10 and, if over 10, they will receive a separate invitation or their names will be on your invitation. We truly wish we could have every one, but it is a small wedding.
Food Allergies:
Please let us know if you have any food allergies so we can pass that information on to the hotel. We want everyone to be able to eat!
Where do I stay?
Accommodations for the wedding will be available on site or at nearby hotels. Please visit the Location tab for more details. We will aim to keep the information on this website updated as the date nears and travel logistics firm up. There will be space at the Chateau for many of our guests and we will contact you directly following RSVPs to get you booked up. We wish everyone could stay at the Chateau with us, but space is limited. This is a small wedding and each guest is family to us. If you do not stay at the Chateau, we hope you come to the Chateau during the day to hang out at the pool and dine. If you have not heard from us, the Chateau has been fully committed. Click Location below for more details.
How do I get there?
Fly to Paris, Marseilles, or Geneva. Once there, take a train to Valence or Montelimar and rent a car, or drive to the Chateau directly from your port of entry. We highly suggest GPS and contacting your mobile company to enable service in the EU. We also have more information on our Location tab on the top of the screen, right. If you cannot find your answers here, please feel free to contact us or the hotel. They are very helpful and are expecting your calls/emails! Also, click Location below!
Do I need a visa?
If you have a passport from the states, UK, or EU, no. If you have, say, a Pakistani passport... yes, you do.
What do you mean by Pakistani attire?
Several styles of dress are suitable for Pakistani weddings. Popular choices include 'Shalwar Kameez' (men and women) and 'Saree' (women only). Please see below for links that provide some options for purchase. Feel free to browse the web to create your own ideas!
Men, please contact Saad first. For women, the dresses that hit mid calf with pants underneath will be the shalwar kameez. Sarees are long garments that wrap around your waist and drape over one shoulder.
Pastel colors are both customary and suggested on the day of the Pakistani ceremony. However, this is only a rough guide. We certainly prefer that you wear what is comfortable and advise that you use items that you already have rather than purchase anything new (we have many better ways for helping you part with your money). Suffice it to say, wearing Pakistani dress on Friday is not required, merely a fashion statement that will not go unnoticed!

Is the wedding on Saturday, June 11th black tie?
No, but formal attire is suggested. Saad will be wearing a suit and not a tuxedo. Kasey will be wearing an ivory color both days.
Registry?
We request that you please forego any gifts. The gift of your time and presence is the greatest we could ever ask. Your love and support mean so much and we cannot wait to celebrate with you in France or afterwards. But please know, whether you're with us in France or not, you're in our hearts and that is all we need and more!
